Our 3M™ VHB Tape 4991, grey, is a 2.3 mm thick, extremely adaptable tape made of 100% closed-cell acrylic adhesive for permanently strong connections in both indoor and outdoor applications. It can be quickly and easily applied, offering powerful and durable performance. Rivets, welds, and screws can be replaced. Use this high-performance, viscoelastic VHB tape on a wide range of surfaces such as powder coatings. 3M™ VHB High-Performance Tapes are double-sided tapes made from closed-cell acrylic adhesives. They offer high adaptability to the surfaces being bonded. Smooth or structured surfaces can be bonded stress-free across the entire area. Ideal for a variety of materials with high and medium surface energy, such as metals, plastics, paints, or glass. High plasticizer resistance (e.g. for PVC substrates).
