Product Description3M VHB 4952P Double-Sided Tape with Foam Adhesive Core Acrylic Foam The high-performance adhesive tapes Acrylic Foam developed by 3M are summarized in the VHB system, an abbreviation for "Very High Bond." These products nowadays take over tasks in connection technology that were previously solved with spot welding, clipping, riveting, or screws. With the help of a special 3M technology, a high-quality acrylic adhesive was used in a closed-cell form as the adhesive core. It forms a homogeneous unit with the two adhesive sides. This construction gives the product viscoelastic properties, meaning Acrylic Foam flows into all gaps and depressions of the surfaces to be bonded, creating 100% contact. In addition, the Acrylic Foam products have very good gap resistance of the adhesive core, balanced shear and peel strength, as well as high initial adhesion and bonding strength. They are also resistant to moisture, UV rays, and most hydrocarbons.
