Reliability Across the Board Our 3M™ VHB™ Tape 5930, black, is a 0.8 mm thick, highly conformable, double-sided high-performance tape made from modified acrylic adhesive. It bonds quickly and easily while providing strong and durable holding power. This tape can replace rivets, welds, and screws. Use this powerful, viscoelastic VHB tape on various surfaces, including powder-coated surfaces.
High-Performance VHB Tapes 3M VHB high-performance tapes are double-sided tapes made from closed-cell acrylic adhesive. They offer excellent conformability to bonding surfaces. Both smooth and textured surfaces can be bonded stress-free over the entire area. They are especially suitable for many low-energy surfaces, powder-coated surfaces, plastics (excluding soft PVC), or glass. In many applications, the use of primers can be avoided.
