3M™ Transfer Adhesive Tape 966 Transparent
The 3M™ Transfer Adhesive Tape 966, with the 3M™ Acrylic Adhesive from the 100 adhesive series, provides strong bonds that are resistant to chemicals and high temperatures, meeting the requirements of the aerospace, automotive, and electronics industries. Low outgassing properties ensure optimal performance in demanding applications.
Robust bonds at high temperatures. The 3M™ Transfer Adhesive Tape 966 is made of 3M high-temperature acrylic adhesive 100 and a compressed backing paper. This adhesive is designed for industrial applications exposed to very high temperatures for short periods. The transfer tape meets the NASA specification for low outgassing (ASTM E 595) and low extractable chloride, which can be crucial for the electronics and aerospace industries. In the past, a total mass loss of 1.00 percent and captured volatile, condensable components of 0.10 percent were used as rejection limits for spacecraft materials (NASA).
